London - American recording artist Kortnee Simmons, has released “Corner of Okay” his brand new single featuring Blake Akana Chung. The single which will be available on all digital service providers from June 17th.
“Corner of Okay” is an uptempo dance-pop, Europop and electro house song, that features a thick baseline and big synth cords. The song is reminiscent of the engineered productions of Calvin Harris and the lyrical style of Chris Brown.
Simmons who wrote and produced “Corner of Okay” in Miami, says, “I wanted to produce a song that made people feel good and bring them together. Corner of Okay is a party track, it makes you wanna get up on dance and leave all your troubles behind.”
Kortnee, is no stranger to the music world, who shares his surname with a very famous business magnate, Russell Simmons. The nephew to the Def Jam co - founder, was also featured in the 2008 TV series Jonas, the show following the Jonas Brothers. Simmons acting career also credits Disney’s 2008 blockbuster “Camp Rock” and 2009’s Hannah Montanna: The Movie.
