STEVIE NICKS' 1981 PHOTO SHOOT JAM SESSION

I might be late to this party, as I only just discovered this old (by internet standards) clip of Stevie Nicks delivering an impromptu performance of Wild Heart during a photo shoot for Rolling Stone - circa 1981?? Everyone and their ASOS-clad sister probably claims Fleetwood Mac is ackshully their fave band of all time, and quite honestly, I'm not much different.

I do, however, think my fondness stems not only from their music, but from the septum-deviating heartbreak they suffered during their emotionally fraught, incestuous reign as the world's greatest cocaine consumers. I mean, look at the tempestuous affairs they grubbied each other with. It's like every performance was a tableau of human misery, and despite the fame, wealth and limitless party favours, I don't think I'd ever want to switch places with any of them (maybe).

Despite such consistent turmoil, I doubt I've heard Stevie's frozen heart thaw more brilliantly than in this amateur vid. A singular moment of bloody magic.
