It's been over a decade since R&B pant-stripper D'Angelo made everyone in the club instantly DTF. His latest album, Black Messiah, came out earlier this week after cooking for 14 or so years. I'm not saying it was worth the wait. But with guest spots from Q-Tip and P-Funk's Kendra Foster, as well as production credits from Questlove, it's richer than pound cake and would probably be hailed album of the century if it was cut by Frank Ocean.
Plus with a title like that, you know there's a very timely politcal slant. Stream it below, and sorry if you don't have Spotify.
