Ty Segall's launched an all-out marketing offensive in promotion of new album Emotional Mugger, including posting a videotape to Pitchfork Media, setting up a hotline number where you can hear a recorded message from Segall, plus a website containing videos and flyers.
But what of the music itself, you ask. While it may keep up with his album-a-year cycle, does it live up to prior material? Check it out for yourself:
