TEENAGER DISCOVERS PHOTOS FROM NIRVANA'S FIRST EVER GIG IN 1987

Remember folks: If a crappy high school band ever wants to gig in your garage, let them! They might just go on to become one of the biggest groups of all time. In March 1987, Tony Poukkula let his high school pals, and occasional jam buddies, Kurt Cobain and Krist Novoselic showcase their new band Nirvana in his (mom's) house.

Tony, or another fan, took some snaps of the seminal event, which were recently unearthed and tweeted by his daughter Maggie. Who seemed to be adorably unaware of the significance of the shots. Ugh, writing that sentence kinda makes me feel like Comic Book Guy chastising a kid for removing the original packaging. Anyways, enjoy:

Looks rowdy.
