Apparently there's a budding subculture in Japan obsessed with Dancehall. By budding, I actually mean failry enormous, given that DJs who pump out Vybz, Popcaan, Elephant Man et al. have filled stadiums and won mix battles in Brooklyn.

This brilliant short film was put together by the people at Bose as part of their Scene Unseen film trilogy. It's well worth a watch, and you can keep up with the series' progress here.
