Before the internet ate everything teens like me used to discover a lot of music by watching hours and hours of music TV on Sky. If you were really cheeky, you'd watch Channel U or MTV Base after 11pm, when they'd start playing dirty videos with bare butts and unbleeped lyrics in them. One fan favourite was a track called 'My Neck, My Back' by the female rapper Khia. It was arguably a feminist anthem for a more uninhibited generation, with the hook chanting, "my neck, my back, lick my pussy and my crack."
A decade or so later, Miley Cyrus decided to dress up as a fairy and deliver her own rendition of the track at a birthday party. It was also her mum's birthday party, so it's no surprise she started to shriek obscenities at the (very young looking) crowd between lyrics about cunnilingus and eating asshole.
