Tyler, The Creator has had a tough few months. For one thing, he was banned from performing in both Australia and the UK, because the countries' respective governments thought his music incited hatred. On top of that set-back, his latest album, Cherry Bomb, was met with a reaction that can only really be described as total disinterest.
Neither of those things are really enough to snuff out a career, but having foreign powers lump you in to the same category as career criminals and terrorists must have an effect on someone who is still, almost unbelievably, only 24-years-old. I'm sure it wasn't great for his bank account either.
In light of all this, Tyler quietly dropped a track called 'FUCK IT' yesterday evening. It's fair to say he needed to vent, because the rapper pours everything he's ever wanted to say onto a very short beat. Amazingly, it just about holds together. If you plan on having a fistfight today, this will serve as a great hype-track.
