Do you remember when kids at school used to keep the tags on Beanie Babies because they thought they'd be a collectors' item one day? Unsurprisingly, they were wrong. But maybe you shouldn't be so quick to dismiss your mates who cling to old junk, because apparently first and second gen iPods are going for big bucks.
According to an article in Billboard, the 160 gb behemoths of old are being sold for as much as $900 brand new. That particular one was obviously a bit of rarity though, as it was still in its original packaging. However, I did just search for the same item on eBay UK, and some of them are demanding a cool £500.
So if you've got that old brick buried somewhere under your bed, find it and stick that badboy on eBay. It might just cover next month's rent.
