4 CELEBS THAT COULD NEGOTIATE BREXIT BETTER THAN THERESA MAY

Brexit negotiations are still in their early stages but are allegedly in danger of collapse, as evidence in the recently reported clash between Theresa May and Jean-Claude Juncker over the British Prime Minister’s apparent “ignorance” of the details of leaving the EU. It’s safe to say it all seems like a bit of a disaster so far, and Theresa and her associates are hardly covering themselves in glory. But who could possibly do a better job as a Brexit negotiator than Theresa May?

Well, it turns out, loads of people. Here’s the crack team we would assemble to deliver the best possible Brexit deal for Britain.

Harry Redknapp - The Cunning Dealmaker

Who better to lead the negotiations than the former Spurs, West Ham and Portsmouth manager, Harry “Don’t Call Me a Wheeler-Dealer” Redknapp, the best deal-maker in football. At first sight, the Cockney geezer may seem like a strange choice to negotiate a Brexit deal, but in fact, he’s almost overqualified for the role. Has he ever made a savvy deal with the French? This is the man who brought Benjani to Portsmouth for only £4 million from Auxerre - he made a career out of doing savvy deals with the French! Does he have experience negotiating an exit from Europe? He managed Spurs in the Champions League - of course he does!

Liam Neeson - The Special Set of Skills

Another man who's had a lot unsavoury business with the French is Liam Neeson. In “Taken”, he karate chopped them and judo threw them into rivers, all the way to saving his daughter from a gang of generically European sex traffickers. Was this, in fact, an analogy for Brexit negotiations? No, but tell me you wouldn’t trust Neeson with either your life or your country’s future trade dealings in his big Northern Irish hands.
