It is totally insane that airlines expect you to print out your boarding pass, because who owns a printer at home in 2014? Sick of having to wave their smartphones at check in ladies (maybe), Zuta Labs have introduced a miniature printer that rolls across sheets of paper, rather than pulling the paper through itself like the old days. The designers are currently seeking $400,000 (£250,000, about) of funding through Kickstarter for the "Pocket Printer", which will be able to sync with computers, smartphones and tablets whereever and whenever you need it to. It prints pretty slowly (1.5 pages per minute as opposed to a desktop printer's 10) but who prints out anything other than a boarding pass these days anyway?
