Super rich Frenchman Vincent Bolloré has said that he will be bringing his electric car sharing service to London by 2015, so we'll be able to book cars for short journeys between parkings points like we do with Boris Bike. Bolloré has already launched a successful version of this system - called Autolib - in Paris.
Around 100 of the "Bluecars" will arrive at first, with this going up to 3000 once the service is rolled out across all the London boroughs. Exact prices for the service haven't been announced yet, but it's expected it will cost about £10 a month with another £5 per half hour ride. Transport for London and Boris have both expressed their support for the idea.
