Although I kind of think we're reaching craft beer saturation point, I figure if I can't get excited about beer flavoured ice cream, I can't get excited about anything. Ben & Jerry's have teamed up with New Belgium Brewing to create not only a beer flavoured ice cream, but an ice cream flavoured beer.
So if you want to wash down a tub of Salted Caramel Brown-ie Ale ice cream with a bottle of Salted Caramel Brownie Ale beer, you're in luck. And even if that sounds disgusting, purchasing the limited edition flavours will go some way to fight climate change:
"Ben & Jerry’s and New Belgium Brewing are coming together in a sweet partnership to help fight climate change. While pleasing beer and ice cream lovers, each pint of Salted Caramel Brown-ie Ale ice cream, and bottle of Salted Caramel Brownie Ale beer will benefit Protect Our Winters (POW), a group that is engaging the snow sports community to fight climate change."
