High street chain BHS is on the brink of collapse, threatening 11,000 jobs. In March 2015, company boss and billionaire businessman Sir (lol) Philip Green sold the brand for £1; since 2000, 'the amount Green’s family earned from BHS is more than the retailer’s £571m pension deficit' (the Guardian). The deficit is expected to be bailed out by the taxpayer pension backed fund.

In 2005, Phil awarded himself £1.2 billion, given to his Monaco-based wife Tina to avoid an estimated £285 million in corporate tax. Our friends from The Revolution Will Be Televised visited Topshop to show off the brand's new 'offshore' range...
