I can't wait to own my first home. I can see it now. Seven feet long, three feet wide, about six feet in the ground. Should hopefully move in after I'm 100! Fingers-crossed! In all seriousness, the average age of a first time buyer in London will soon be 52, probably because the average price of a property in the capital is a cool half million.
In reality the issue is far more complex than this, as the housing crisis affects different people in different ways. FOURWALLS wants to hear your take on the subject. The film project is asking budding movie-makers to submit a short (no more than three minutes) expressing their views about housing in the capital. Check out the brief:
A jury of housing, film and design industry experts, chaired by David Lammy MP, will shortlist the most compelling and thought-provoking short films to premiere at the London Short Film Festival in January 2015. The top prize is £1,000.
You have until December 31st so you better get cracking. For more info head to the FOURWALLS website.
