In its ongoing bid to conquer land, mammal and sea, Google strapped a camera to a camel and got it to roam around the Liwa Desert, Abu Dhabi, charting the area for Streetview. It's odd to see such an ancient mode of transport commandeered for fairly innocuous reasons, but when you want your company to transcend earth and nature itself, it makes some sense.
