According to the Associated Press, Harper Lee is set to publish a second novel - her first since To Kill A Mockingbird (1960). The book, titled Go Set A Watchman, was actually finished prior to her completion of her most famous story, but for whatever reason sat unpublished for half a century.
The book will only be the second novel published by the Pulitzer Prize winning author. It's unlikely to out-sell To Kill A Mockingbird, which has shifted over 40 million copies and is effectively standard issue in all western schools. Her new novel will reportedly be released on July 14th.
Some claim Truman Capote ghost-wrote the seminal novel, but that's the sort of discussion reserved for eminent literary scholars who are no fun at all.
