UK Sport has withdrawn £7 million in funding for British basketball, a sport that over 200,000 people in the UK participate in each week. To help keep the world's second most popular team sport alive in Britain, UK Basketball is running the 15th annual Midnight Madness. MM2014 is an open participation summer programme which gives the UK's best ballers the chance to shine on a huge stage:

Midnight Madness will travel around cities across the country before culminating in an All-Star final on Sunday 31 August at the Copper Box Arena, in the Olympic Park.
In true Midnight Madness style, the games will be accompanied by DJs, music acts and dunk competitions featuring unreasonable hops. So if you don't know Luol Deng or even LeBron, it's still going to be a night to remember.
Better still, all profits from ticket sales will go towards the Reach & Teach foundation, a charitable organisation providing free opportunities for young people to play Basketball, be coached and compete in grassroots competitions across the capital.
Buy your tickets here and you'll help a truly worthy cause.
