HERE'S HOW MUCH IT ACTUALLY COSTS TO SWING A CAT IN LONDON

I really hope everyone takes note of this post. Not just because of the malfeasance of London's spiralling housing costs, but also because it took me ages to photoshop that cat into the baseball picture above. Moving on, Shelter have rigged up a website called Catswing with the help of developers Nice and Serious, which will tell you how much money a postcode demands for you to do just that.

The average cat is 2.5 feet long, as is the average arm. I live in SE24, meaning it would cost me £54,271 to own a space large anough to swing the animal.

Head over to Chelsea, and you're looking at a cool £158,180. But then if you're already thinking about moving to SW3, you can probably afford to pay many servants to swing many cats - expensive pedigree ones too.

Try Catswing for yourself here.
