Jog on Adam Smith, one of these 436 famous faces is going to replace you on the new £20 note. It could be Alfred Hitchcock, Charlie Chaplin, Stanley Kubrick, Alexander McQueen, Beatrix Potter or Richard Attenborough. Or it could even be Anthony Minghella (did he direct The English Patient?), Laurence Olivier or mum's favourite designer, Laura Ashley.
Too mainstream? Then why not go for Tim Hetherington, the late journalist who was killed covering Libya's civil war in 2011. Or what about Owen Jones? I wonder how he'd feel being the face of our currency. Whoever is chosen, chances are it won't be a female. Of the 436 candidates, only 90 are women.
