This elderly couple were having a casual afternoon drive in a wealthy area of Los Angeles when disaster struck. After visiting the local market to cash in 300 coupons they'd snipped out of the May 1987 issue of Reader's Digest, the octogenarians climbed back into the car to head home.
Like a scene from a horror movie, the couple soon realised they were travelling at least 10, maybe even 20, miles under the speed-limit - on a totally empty residential street.
Knowing it would be suicide to not slow down even further, the couple slammed on the breaks and somehow flipped their electric car. Then they posed for adorable photos.
