In almost 20 years since the release of his acclaimed American drama Kids, Larry Clark introduces us to his first ever foreign film about a certain counterculture led by a group of young, self-destructing Parisian skaters.

Titled The Smell of Us, the film follows a crew of heavy partying skateboarders, hanging out at the Dôme, by the Musée d’Art Moderne – this location reminds Clark of New York’s Washington Square Park during the early ’90s.

The specifics on this film are yet to be released, however Dazed Digital spoke with its writer S.C.R.I.B.E. and actors Lukas Ionesco, Théo Cholbi, Angie Sherbourne and Serena Thelma Perret here.
