Jose Armando Bustamante of Houston, Texas, is 17-years-old and a fine example of human ingenuity. That's because Jose can take a pair of sneakers, which look like they've been tossed into the middle of a dog fight, and restore them to their boxfresh glory.
Don't make the mistake of dismissing this as another over-hyped 'How-To' video that are ten a penny on YouTube. Jose's skills are reminiscent of crafts as aged and revered as furniture restoration. Not that I know for sure if that's especially revered, but it's always seemed pretty impressive. He claims he's found sneakers in the trash, restored them, then sold them on eBay for $400.
