Over the last few years we've seen the rise of earnest documentary making, where filmmakers set out to look into their backgrounds, explore their communities, ask deep questions and set out to make a larger point. However, like any trend, it has its fair share of duds, replete with myopic storytelling, an over-reliance on gimmicky effects, very little occurring and ultimately not much said. My Sister's Dollhouse is a great parody of these tropes, giving you an inconsequential tale in around 2 minutes...
