PETER CROUCH BEATS ARSENAL, THEN CROWDSURFS AT KASABIAN GIG

Footballing mantis Peter Crouch had a pretty good Saturday. His team went on to beat Arsenal 3-2 in the afternoon, then he popped down to Brixton Academy to catch the last night of Kasabian's five gig residency in the evening.

The game, in which Crouch scored after only 19 seconds, was just a warm up for the striker as he defied the strict no crowdsurfing laws imposed at all O2 Academies and went for it like a well timed volley against City.

Both Crouch and Kasabian rose to prominence at roughly the same time, and now they both seem to be having a resurgence. 2006 for life:
