RIP STORM THORGERSON

Storm Thorgerson has passed away after battling with cancer, leaving behind an incredible legacy of work. You’d be forgiven for recognising Thorgerson’s pieces before the man, as he was the unseen artist behind many iconic album covers. His most well-known work was for Pink Floyd’s Dark Side Of The Moon, and he would continue to collaborate with the band as their catalogue grew.

Thorgerson’s work was not limited to the art for Pink Floyd albums; he also designed a number of covers for the likes of Muse and Biffy Clyro. Thorgerson’s work is still highly respected and influential, although we'll always remember him for that beam of light refracting through a prism.
