If you're in the UK and awake, cast a bleary eye towards the nearest window. God, that's bleak, isn't it? A thick layer of fog has smothered the country like a big, sad pillow, and on top of all this, it's bloody Monday! But before taking a bath with your toaster, please remember that it isn't all bad.
Just look at the past weekend, where all sorts of joyous events occured. For instance, Sonny Bill Williams, a New Zealand rugby player who won the World Cup on Saturday, gave his winner's medal to a random kid. Kiwi Charlie Lines (lol) got Sonny's attention by rushing the field during the All Blacks' lap of honour, only to be decked by a security guard. Check it out:
That security guard should play for England (ayooo).
Even Sonny looks like he's wincing at that collision! BOSH.
The kid got to keep the medal and SBW even got a new one. Everybody wins.
Also this weekend, some bearded guy met his bearded doppelganger on a Ryanair flight. I'd say that that's probably the only nice thing to have ever happened on a Ryanair flight, but as I've had mostly positive experiences with the low-budget airline, I don't feel comfortable making such a quip.
Neil Douglas discovered Robert Stirling on a flight from Stansted to Shannon airport on Thursday evening. After landing, they soon realised they were staying in the same hotel. So they went for a pint. Aawww. Personally I'm more interested in the guy pointing at them a few rows behind. He's loving it!
Finally, Tom Hardy is set to appear on ITV's For The Love Of Dogs on November 5. They recently released preview images from the episode. Super cute!
Anyways, better get back to wallowing in my serious case of the Mondays.
