“Agoraphobia and anxiety limit my ability to travel so I've found another way to see the world,” Jacqui Kenny, also known as the ‘Agoraphobic Traveller’, says on her Instagram account.

Agoraphobia – a fear of being in situations where escape might be difficult – is something that would rule out travelling for most people. That’s why Kenny developed a different way: seeing the world’s sights through Google Maps Street View.

Having just returned from New York where she launched an exhibition of her work with Google, she’s been pretty busy recently. She spends her time traversing through digital streets or perusing online landscapes with the aim of documenting the most alluring scenes she can find.

Favouring remote scenery close to the equator over urban locations, her audacious work is full of striking shadows and bold colours. Be sure to check out her Instagram and website.
