Police have wanted students at a US college to lock their doors following reports a man is breaking into homes and tickling his victim’s feet. The man, also known as the Boston Tickler, sometimes stalks the students sleeping or watches them through their windows while masturbating.
Police have noted ten sightings of the pervert around Boston’s Brighton area, where a lot of students at Boston College live off campus.
Teddy Raddell, a Boston College junior told Boston.com he was woken up at 5am last October by the sound of someone running down the stairs of his house.
He said: “I thought my roommate had fallen down the steps. But then he started yelling. I got up and he said that he had woken up to someone touching his feet.”
Boston Police Sergeant Michael O’Hara told the New York Post: “Absolutely students should be concerned.
“You don’t know what this guy is going to do or if he has a weapon. You need to lock your doors. It’s not as safe as you think.”
Police have dismissed claims the Boston Tickler is an urban-myth.
