THE DISNEYLAND MEMORIAL ORGY!

In 1958, the staff at Mad Magazine in New York started a sister magazine for Mad called The Realist, which essentially became 'Mad for grown ups'. They did a lot of cool things, which you can find out about over on their Wikipedia page, because I'm not your damn mother, do your own research. Their greatest pop cultural legacy, however, was without a doubt the lovely Disneyland Memorial Orgy spread, the original of which looked like this:

The illustration from a 1967 issue, by a guy called Wally Woods, got bootlegged loads and ended up as a poster that any self respecting deliquent had on their bedroom wall the world over. In 2005, The Realist founder and editor, Paul Krassner, had the print digitally coloured by an ex-Disney employee, and then just now a bunch of French skaters who run an art gallery called Boom Art got it printed on a pair of skateboard decks.

This is obviously an extravagant purchase, and it's like taking collectable action figures out the box- if you skate it or ruin its integrity in any way, you ruin it, but if you leave it alone, well, you've just got a pair of decks in a box with Daisy Duck's butthole drawn on it. Either way, it's really cool that this exists.

Remember when Disney investigated UFOs? Weird.
