I've watched a fair few skate vids in my time and the moments that always made me cringe - bearing in mind these are essentially compilations of broken teeth, shattered elbows and 3/4 length cargo shorts-fitted cap combos - were when skaters broke their boards. Injuries heal but it's a real bummer to see a beloved plank of wood and wheels split in two. However, Powell Peralta appear to have made a skateboard that'll do away with this heartbreak - and perhaps every other skate company around - thanks to the product's lighter, stronger build.
