THE WASH-FREE SHIRT

I'm at an age where it'd probably be more appropriate for me to wear nice button-down shirts to work and social occasions than it would for me to wear a Nike crewneck and a Minor Threat t shirt. Unfortunately, I'm the kind of good for nothing lazy bachelor who doesn't iron anything and puts off doing washes until three days after he's reversed all his underwear twice. As a consequence of that, I tend to end up in a scally jumper and fading punk t shirt at parties where I might meet the future Mrs Foster. She's not been forthcoming so far, and I reckon -ever expanding beer gut/beer chin and Peter Pan complex aside- that it might have something to do with the way I present myself.

That's why I heartily endorse the endeavors of the people over at Wool & Prince, who appear to have performed some kind of alchemy and created a wool shirt you don't have to wash, for 100 -ONE HUNDRED- days -DAYS. It's 98 bucks, or about 62 quid if you're in the UK. That means that for the price of one and a quarter American Apparel button-downs, you can look like the kind of husband-material that has his shit together, while secretly not having your shit together at all!
