A mysterious Arabic-language advert has appeared on Interstate 94 near Dearborn, Michigan, simply reading: “Donald Trump can’t read this, but he is scared of it.”
The billboard - paid for by the Nuisance Committee, a group set up by the team behind the Cards Against Humanity card game - pokes fun at the ignorant mindset underpinning Donald Trump's xenophobic rhetoric about Muslims and immigration.
Melissa Harris, a spokesperson for the Nuisance Committee, told WWJ Newsradio 950: “I like the idea of people who do not speak Arabic having to ask their friends who do speak Arabic to translate the board for them. And I personally hope this also will generate some dialogue between Arabic speaking people and non-Arabic speaking people in Detroit and across the country.”
The billboard directs members of the public to www.trumpisscared.org - a webpage dedicated to laying out Trump's manic approach to immigration policy over the course of the presidential campaign.
