THROUGH THE WALL: A FAMILY DIVIDED BY A NATIONAL BORDER

You don't have to look far in the news to see charged, divisive rhetoric about immigration, whether it's UK prime minister David Cameron calling refugees a 'swarm of people' or Donald Trump decrying Mexicans as drug pushers and rapists. But when you look closer at the people being talked about, it's hard not to feel empathy for many of their desperate situations. Take who this documentary covers, for instance: Abril, an undocumented immigrant living in the U.S., who has a young son and an absent husband- deported to Mexico due to getting a minor traffic ticket. Now Abril and her son have to take an arduous journey to visit Uriel, meeting at the U.S./Mexico border.
