A new trailer for director Lenny Abrahamson's (What Richard Did) comedy Frank has arrived online, which is based on the memoir by Joe Ronson (The Men Who Stare At Goats) and tells a fictional story loosely inspired by Frank Sidebottom, the alter ego of Timperley (UK) comedian Chris Sievey, whose character has bizarrely been transplanted to the states for this film and is played in the film by Michael Fassbender (if you're not familiar with Mr. Sidebottom, get to know). Take a look at the trailer below....
"Frank is an offbeat comedy a young wannabe musician, Jon (Domhnall Gleeson), who finds himself out of his depth when he joins an avant-garde pop band led by the mysterious and enigmatic Frank (Michael Fassbender), a musical genius who hides himself inside a large fake head, and his terrifying bandmate Clara (Maggie Gyllenhaal)."
