All VICE media websites are currently blacked out as part of a campaign to free VICE News journalist Mohammed Rasool. Rasool and his colleagues Phil Pendlebury and Jake Hanrahan were arrested in August while reporting in southeast Turkey and were detained on baseless allegations of assisting ISIS.

Pendlebury and Hanrahan were released in September, while Rasool has now been detained for 56 days. Rasool is a 25-year-old freelance journalist, student, and fixer for VICE News. The trio were covering clashes between the Youth Wing of the PKK—the Kurdistan Worker’s Party—and Turkish authorities in Cizre and Diyarbakir.

Watch the video below and be sure to sign the petition demanding Rasool's release.
