In new documentary HyperNormalisation, filmmaker Adam Curtis explores the idea that narratives that explain the world - such as the struggle between good and evil - are failing in an increasingly fraught and complicated time. This encompasses the shifting opinion of Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi, the rise of cyberspace, the changing nature of war and much more, linked together through found footage, narration and a host of sans serif fonts. It's currently available on BBC iPlayer for a year, but for international viewers or anyone that wants to watch it a year and a day from now, all two hours and forty minutes of it have been posted on YouTube...
