YSL AD BANNED BECAUSE OF 'UNHEALTHILY UNDERWEIGHT MODEL'

The Advertising Standards Authority has just banned an Yves Saint Laurent advert because it features an 'unhealthily underweight model.' An Elle reader complained to the magazine after it ran the ad, then the ASA stepped in. You will now only be able to see it on Don't Panic. And a load of other sites.

The ASA deemed the YSL ad 'irresponsible,' largely because the model's ribs were too prominent:
