The Founders Forum and TalkTalk have teamed up to offer five 14 to 25 year old UK-based entrepreneurs (individuals or teams) the chance to win £10,000 to help develop their business idea independently.
What do you need to enter? A project in the making for at least 3 months and the passion to convince the Founders Forum that you and your idea are worth the investment. No business plan, relevant experience or university degree? No matter, the event is all about empowering young people who might not otherwise be able to bring their ideas to world class investors and tech experts.
Alongside the prize money, the finalists will meet and pitch to elite tech investors; there will be a workshop beforehand to help train you to pitch professionally.
To apply, all you have to do is send in a 140 character top line pitch and send us a selfie video telling them why they should invest in you.
You must be aged between 14 and 25 (inclusive) on 31 August 2016.
The deadline for application is May 20th.
The 5 finalists must be available to attend Founders Forum in London on Wednesday, June 16th, 2016. You will also be required to attend a workshop day on Saturday, June 4th, 2016 where you will receive expert help in pitching your idea.
