You know where you stand with escalators, generally; up, down, right if you're on the Underground, straight forward if you're in an airport. Not so in the case with this Chinese one. In Ningbo, shoppers going about their business were stunned  when their escalator suddenly changed course and started going down, leading to at least five people injured. Need further proof the machines are working against us? I think not. Check it out.
